Kyo understood the fear that Gyoken may have went through to cause him to do such a thing such as pulling a Kunai on him, afterall Kyo was indeed a genin to be feared aside from his brother, and during the situation Kyo's menacing presence didn't help. He didn't make any real movement to attack the smaller boy and kept his smile as he recognized that Gyoken's reaction had been born of fear and self-preservation. Their current location was a place of intense emotions, where instincts often overruled reason.

Kyo: Oh geez you're right that is rude of me isn't it. Haha, I'm Kyo.

With thing beginning to heat up even further and sensing his brother's chakra utilizing one of his techniques to open up a breach in the storm clouds, that gave him an idea of how to get through things but he also took note of the Uchiha he approached prior along with his own methods on how to go about the mission. The situation was dire and civilians who had been within the area were caught in the tempestuous maelstrom with their lives hanging in the balance. Kyo knew he had to act swiftly and decisively or things were going to end bad. With the roar of the tempest echoing in his ears, Kyo sprinted toward the heart of the churning cloud. His taijutsu skills were formidable, honed through years of training in his home. He knew he had to utilize his physical prowess to clear the path and save those in danger as it was all he possessed. Kyo's movements were a blur as he closed the distance. He unleashed a flurry of rapid strikes, each one aimed at disrupting the flow within the cloud. His fists and kicks struck with precision, sending shockwaves of force rippling through the energy storm. His plan was to cause the cloud to quiver and convulse under his onslaught while carefully avoiding any civilians in the process. Bolts of lightning crackled, but Kyo remained undeterred. He couldn't afford to falter; innocent lives depended on his actions.

As he continued his assault, Kyo spotted civilians trapped within the tumultuous tempest. With a quick burst of speed, he leaped into the heart of the storm, his keen eyes scanning for anyone in peril. His movements were a delicate dance, navigating through the violent currents of energy. With determination, Kyo reached out to civilians one by one, guiding them to safety with swift and precise movements. He shielded them from the raging energy, using his own chakra empowered body as a barrier against the devastating forces at play. The cloud of energy writhed and protested, but Kyo held firm. He had made it his mission to protect the innocent, and nothing would deter him. His prior attacks made it easier to save more lives. After what seemed like an eternity, Kyo emerged from the dissipating cloud, his clothes torn and singed, but his body was still in good condition aside from a few scratches and minor burn marks. The civilians he had rescued stood behind him, safe and grateful. The thunderous cloud of energy had been dispersed in certain places due to his efforts, which will have also cleared a way for the others.

Amidst the trials and tribulations of their separate journeys, the individuals known as Yatoru, Kyo, and Gyoken each found themselves at a critical juncture. Their relentless pursuit of personal growth and mastery had yielded remarkable results. A thunderous explosion reverberated through the air, and the night sky transformed into a dazzling display of fireworks.

In a breathtaking spectacle, the stars above seemed to align, spelling out the names of these exceptional shinobi: "Kengan Yatoru, Kengan Kyo, and Uchiha Gyoken + 25 points."

Though their paths had diverged, they shared this moment of glory, proving that perseverance, dedication, and indomitable will propel them ever closer to the pinnacle of their abilities. As the fiery patterns above painted their triumph, one couldn't help but wonder what extraordinary feats the future held for these shinobi, individually and perhaps even together.

With resolve and determination, Nashiro channeled her chakra to unleash a potent torrent of water, which impeded the progress of those attempting to flee.

The roar of the water was a testament to her control and skill, but the words that appeared in the sky painted a different picture: "Nashiro Ashida minus ten points." It was a moment that left an indelible mark, a reminder that every action in this challenging trial carried consequences.

There was absolutely no cause for excitement at this point in time; the current situation was daunting and something out of a horror film. Otaru kept vigilant of the surrounding environment, using his basic senses to make sure he would not be taken by surprise. He watched the thick smog bend and warp, as shadowy figures could be seen challenged by the smothering embrace. Otaru's big blue eyes widened, as these must have been people fleeing for their lives. This came as a shock; after all, this was the Chunin Exams. Regular people, Otaru did not expect to be here; they were thrown like rats to an insatiable feline predator. These people did not deserve to be here, and it did not take Otaru long to figure out why. These people were being used as props to test the genin here. Such a cruel thing to do, all for the sake of what? Otaru did not have time to think it through, as he saw their forms flailing and contorting, hoping to seek refuge. However, the darkened cloud was relentless, confining its prey within the maws of its jaw. The people's movements were frantic, the level of panic was extreme, and the amount of time to save them was minimal.

Otaru_close_up.png

Otaru had sweat dripping off of his forehead, as well as off the sides of his cheeks and the brim of his nose. These people, who were obviously seeking freedom, were also strangers to the boy who looked at them. He didn't want to act; he did not want these people to suffer a fate for which he was responsible. After all, he had decided to become a shinobi and eventually advance in rank to learn more prestigious ninja techniques. The amount of emotions Otaru felt in a short period of time confused his mind. Even with a mind riddled with contradicting thoughts, the same could not be said for his actions. Quickly, Otaru reached inside of his ninja pouch and drew forth blue gloves, attaching them to each of his hands. Next, he reflexively executed the Tiger seal, and then he instinctively sprang into a determined sprint with two clones, one to the right and the other to the left. The red-headed, blue-eyed boys moved with incredible urgency.

Perfectly executed was the Shadow Clone Technique, a ninja technique that evenly distributed the user's chakra. Each Otaru was determined to rescue a life, even for strangers who did not belong to his respective village - he believed it was the correct action to take. Otaru could not accept hearing cries go unanswered, and with his mind resolved, his facial expression took on a serious semblance of his mood. The landscape itself had become a threat to those upon it, and those within the fog had a finite amount of time. With minimal time passing and the distance closing, each Otaru weaved the Ram -> Tiger Seal. Surging out of the mouths of the boys was the Water Release: Starch Syrup Capturing Field, which caught the three individuals in front of Otaru. Holding the Tiger Seal, Otaru manipulated the technique into a bubble and, through chakra manipulation, hauled those individuals out of the smoke. This was an improvised version of the technique and unpracticed usage, which happened to expend more chakra than anticipated.

With the individuals hauled meters away, Otaru approached each person and ordered them to bite the two clones. Through Otaru's Heal Bite technique, they would not only be rescued but also recover to full health. With the clones now dispersed, Otaru huffed at the expense of chakra and stamina. Afterwards, Otaru looked up into the atmosphere to see the fireworks indicating those who had gained points during the exams. However, this did not satisfy Otaru, as people had been hurt in the process.

Gyoken's Sharingan, ignited by the sun's rays, traced the rapid movements of his new comrade, Kyo. In the midst of Kyo's brief introduction, he vanished into the swirling and ominous smoke. The urge to yell out a warning clawed at Gyoken's throat, but he refrained. Instead, he observed, curiosity and concern etching his features. As he focused on Kyo's mysterious technique, Gyoken's Sharingan intensified, attempting to dissect the intricate mechanics behind it. It was an art he had not encountered before, and the young Uchiha's analytical mind was captivated by its complexity. Soon, another figure emerged, utilizing the same technique as Kyo. Gyoken recognized the emblem of Amegakure on the boy's attire, the same symbol he bore. His mind whirred with questions, wondering if they were of the same clan, related, or if this was a closely guarded jutsu of the Hidden Rain.

Gyoken's Sharingan, ever vigilant, tracked a stream of water as it surged toward the smoke. He suspected this to be an enemy, and his eyes narrowed with suspicion. Yet, as he focused on the chakra signature, he was taken aback—it was Nashiro Ashida, a kunoichi he had met in the Grass District. Conflicted emotions surged within him. He longed to approach her, but his current mission held precedence. Drawing on his Sharingan's acute perception, Gyoken monitored the escape of the poison from the civilians' bodies. Their coughs, awakening gazes, and expressions of gratitude confirmed their recovery. Gyoken greeted them with a reassuring smile, relieved that he had been able to save them.

Amidst this turmoil, the sky above erupted with a resounding explosion of fireworks. A colorful display etched the names of Gyoken, Yatoru, and Kyo in blazing letters, granting them 25 points each. However, there were also deductions for Nashiro. Pondering the names, especially the intriguing "Kengan," Gyoken's mind swirled with questions. This lineage or clan was shrouded in mystery, and Gyoken's curiosity burned to learn more.

As he watched, another genin emerge from the smoke, a young redhead named Otaru Uzumaki, Gyoken marveled at his mastery of the shadow clone technique. The clones were indistinguishable from the original, a testament to Otaru's skill. What transpired next left Gyoken in awe. Otaru willingly allowed civilians to bite him, an action that initially baffled Gyoken. However, the miraculous result became apparent. Chakra flowed from Otaru into the civilians, mending their injuries and ailments. Gyoken couldn't help but smile as he witnessed this act of selflessness and compassion.

Surrounded by fellow genin, Gyoken felt a sense of camaraderie and hope. It was as if he had returned to the academy, eager to make friends and leave a positive impression. In this moment of unity, Gyoken's determination to become a strong and respected shinobi burned brighter than ever. In the midst of his thoughts, he couldn't help but think of his best friend, Uchiha Ketsu. Gyoken considered Ketsu his rival and hoped to surpass or be equal to him someday. He longed for Ketsu's acknowledgment, a desire that had persisted since their days at the academy.

Listen To this
Slowly straightening himself, Yatoru noticed the length of his hair having shortened, as such with his shirt removed revealed the strange tribal tattoo on his right shoulder, a mark of his victory during his youth; Turning to face the storm, his stared with determination, ignoring the sign of his name in the sky flashing with +25 points, he didn't want any distractions, especially during a time like this, no he needed to focus! Looking towards his fellow genin, Yatoru shouted with a commanding tone,
"Uchiha, Kyo, and you others; we need to focus on saving those trapped inside! I will punch a hole inside that damn storm, Teams or not, our objective is the same, the safety of those inside! Lets get this over with!"
Having stated this, one thing was clear, Yatoru didn't care about whether some were in his team or not, his objective was the safety of those trapped inside and with that notion made clear his legs slowly bent, his back seemingly tearing open as a flow of liquid tore from his lower back formulating and spiraling itself into two tendril like appendages! His left eye having completely changed in appearance as the sclera turned an inky black as the iris transitioned from its ice blue color to that of scarlet in hue. Small cracks forming along his cheek bone as Yatoru readied himself. Finally revealing his Kekkei Genkai Yatoru adjusted the tendrils to point at the incoming storm as he lunged them forth with such incredible speed, allowing them to crash against the storm's wall in rapid succession that it pulverized a hole into the storms wall due to momentum crashing against a wall like structure, this done in high speeds whilst leaving room for the others to enter and leave, Yatoru stood his ground his Rinkaku doing its job as his feet dug into the ground, feeling the incredible force pushing against his kekkei Genkai and the gale force being released like a storm of devestation. His determination not faltering, he made his stand as he knew there was no way he himself could make multiple trips inside that storm, but he could at least do this!

Kyo Kengan2.png

As the smoke around the area, the atmosphere inside the massive arena crackled with even more tension. It was the final round of the Chunin. Kyo's brother, Yatoru and new comrades Gyoken and Otaru were impressive shinobi, and they all possessed unique and extraordinary abilities to be so young. Though, with the following words of his brother along with the situationn he had already been aware of, Kyo focused the muscles with his legs. Kyo glanced over the situation once more to observe the changes that had been made to the cloud by the groups previous attacks. There was still the large cloud present but it had definitely grew weaker from the looks of it, at least in how much was left of it, though regardless enough of it still remained to cause panic to spread through the area as civilians trapped within began to cough and choke, succumbing to the mysterious cloud's effects. After finishing the process, the young genin waisted no more time as he sprang into action once more, his insticts and training taking over as he reaced toward the large cloud once more, determined to save one of the last group of civilians. As he approached, he could feel the oppressive energy of the smoke, trying to threaten his life and overwhelm him.

Drawing on his inner reserves of strength, Kyo performed a series of acrobatic flips and spins, creating a whirlwind of motion. His body became a blur as he generated a powerful vortex of air. With each rotation, he sucked the ominous cloud into his taijutsu technique. While this may have been very dangerous for him to do, with his control he was able to keep the mysterious cloud around his body so he rested between the clouds instead of inside of them. While this didn't disperse it, it moved it portions of cloud away to create am opening. This only worked for a portion instead of the entire cloud but regardless it was still more than enough to allow any trapped people to get away and if they were too damaged it gave way for the others to step in and save them before it closed back up.
Kyo: I cleared this area of the smoke a bit, you guys should be able to get to them and save them now!

As the proceedings around him continued, Ōkami had only appeared to be idle. The entire time, he had been closely watching and listening, ceasing his stretches the moment the first action had been taken. His mind was rapidly adjusting to each change in the situation, and every new bit of information that was processed, waiting for exactly the right moment to involve himself and show those present what he could do. Fellow examinees made themselves known, abilities were revealed, points were earned and subtracted, and civilians were rescued and healed, but there was still yet more work to be done. There were still many more civilians left to save. His keen ears would pick up Kyo's signal to start moving again, which he acted on by casting a partial [Kitsune Transformation] to grant himself eight extra tails for a total of nine, each at least as long as he was tall... Including the length of his ponytail.

"My kind may not trust humans much, but I refuse to just sit by and allow innocent lives to be in danger when I can do something about it."

Such were the words the young lordling of Ouza Island to his fellow examinees for the first time since they'd all awoken, spoken as he channeled a small amount of chakra to his legs and used a chakra-empowered jump to reach the center of the area that had been cleared of smoke by the other Genin. With the aid of the smoke and his keen beast-like senses, Ōkami was able to use the vibrations in the air to pinpoint the nine civilians closest to him. By channeling more chakra into his tails, Ōkami was able to extend them and wrap a tail around the waist of one civilian each before pulling his tails back to him and freeing the civilians from the smoke. He would then use yet another chakra-empowered jump to return to his original spot, though he'd had to use a bit more chakra for this due to being encumbered by the weight of an extra nine grown bodies.

After depositing the recovered civilians on the ground, Ōkami would cut off the chakra flow to his legs and tails and instead focus that chakra to his hands, preparing to form his [Foxfire-Release: Flames of Rejuvenation] so that he could heal the damage done to their lungs from being directly exposed to the toxic air created by the smoke for an extended period of time. Unfortunately, due to his limited reserves and control, he was unable to use too much chakra at once nor could he do this quickly. The fact the Foxfire-Release was a Kekkei-Tota and thus had its share of limitations (including being considerably chakra-intensive by definition) didn't help matters. But in his mind, every little bit counts. He could only hope that his dreadful luck didn't screw things up for him when that was the last thing he needed with an unknown number of lives at risk.

Nashiro had to wipe her eyes and slap her cheeks to bring herself back to reality, with the smoke messing with her eyes and breathing summons forth a strong current of wind from her hands, gathering a large gust of wind before releasing outwards a strong current, blowing away the smoke that’s blocking her path before running through while gathering more wind her hands to repel the smoke out of her way, thrust her hands downward to repel her upwards but also make the current blow outwards around her vicinity making a wider area free from the smoke which also allowed her to reach some of the civilians trapped in the smoke, ran to the unconscious individuals, grabs two of the smaller civilians; a preteen boy and a dwarf like man, literally a damn midget, what are the odds. Nashiro looks around at her surroundings then quickly detects several chakra signature, one felt different, brighter and warm, felt inviting and she was indeed drawn to it, the young ashida shook her head and gather wind on her feet to figure skate on air, keeping a consistent flow of wind chakra below her feet was able to keep a good pace with time and with added weight makes it a tad difficult to keep balance without them shifting around possibilities there might be a medic near by, plus that chakra that’s drawing her there.

People turned their gaze skyward, their eyes widening with awe and excitement as they watched the sky come alive with a brilliant display of fireworks. The night was no longer a canvas of darkness; it had become a canvas of colors, bursting and blooming like flowers in spring. Amidst the dazzling spectacle, two names appeared in bold, luminous letters, etching themselves into the heavens as if declaring their rightful place in the world. Okami Kitsune and Nashiro Ashida, their names shining brightly, were awarded 25 points each.

But the festivities were far from over. Another deafening explosion rocked the air, heralding a new wave of celebration. This time, it was a congratulatory salute to those who had successfully navigated the treacherous first phase of the Chunin Exams. The crowd held its collective breath as a list of names was painted in bold letters against the canvas of the night sky.

- Okami Kitsune - 75
- Kyo Kengan - 100
- Yatoru Kegan - 100
- Gyoken Uchiha - 75
- Otaru Uzumaki - 75
- Nashiro Ashida - 65

The numbers beside each name represented their hard-earned points, and the collective achievements of these young shinobi. To pass the first phase, they needed 75 points or more, and the scores spoke volumes of their determination and skill. As the purple, ominous smoke that had once threatened the village disappeared into nothingness, a collective sigh of relief swept through the crowd. The menace was vanquished, thanks to the bravery and unwavering spirit of these young heroes.
