Hidden Among Shadows: An Uchiha Genin's Glimpse of Battle

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long, inky shadows across the village of Konoha, a lone figure stood shrouded in darkness. Cloaked in obscurity, hidden within the folds of his black attire, was Ketsu Uchiha. With cocoa-coloured hair that seemed to absorb the fading light and eyes that held the fire of a thousand emotions, he bore the unmistakable mark of the Uchiha Clan on his back.

From his vantage point, perched atop a rooftop hidden among the dense foliage, the young Genin watched with intense curiosity and a hint of excitement. Below him, in a desolate battle ground bathed in a dim, eerie light, four formidable shinobi clashed in a fierce battle. His heart raced with anticipation as the combatants unleashed a flurry of jutsu, their forms blurred by speed and skill. Ketsu was here not as a participant but as an observer, a silent witness to this clandestine duel. Shadows danced upon his stoic face, revealing nothing of the emotions bubbling within. The battle before him was a rare spectacle, an opportunity to learn, to analyze, and to hone his own abilities. It was also a reminder of the legacy he carried, the weight of his clan's name, and the destiny that awaited him.

In the stillness of the fight, as the clash of techniques and the clash of wills continued unabated, the Uchiha Genin remained hidden among the shadows. He was a silent, watchful guardian, seeking knowledge and strength in the heart of the darkness. Little did he know that this fateful night would mark the beginning of a journey that would test not only his morals but his very soul. From the concealed vantage point atop a towering oak tree, Ketsu peered intently at the scene unfolding below, jutsu clashing with an intensity that sent shivers down his spine. The sky cast a pale, ghostly light upon the combatants, illuminating their every move as they engaged in an intricate dance of power and precision.

Ketsu's Sharingan still remained veiled for the time being, a silent witness to the unfolding battle. Despite its unawakened status, Ketsu was still plently adept in sensory ; at least for a Genin. He had learned from his Uchiha ancestors that there was no greater teacher than experience, and on this day, he sought to learn in the most covert manner possible. His heart pounded with a mixture of exhilaration and trepidation as he absorbed the techniques, strategies, and raw determination on display below.

His fingers twitched slightly, aching to activate the Sharingan, to analyze every chakra surge and subtle nuance of the fight. But Ketsu knew that revealing himself was not an option; his mission was to remain concealed and unseen. The legacy of the Uchiha Clan weighed heavily on his shoulders, and the thirst for knowledge and power burned within him. As the battle raged on, Ketsu remained hidden in the canopy, his keen eyes locked onto the combatants. He knew that this clandestine night would leave an indelible mark on his journey as a shinobi. The secrets he gleaned from this hidden vigil would not only bolster his abilities but also shape his destiny as a Genin. In the profound silence of the night, he watched, he learned, and he silently forged the path of his own legacy.

"..Wait, is that? No..."

As the combatants clashed, their chakra-infused attacks lighting up the area, Ketsu's focus was momentarily disrupted. A figure, cloaked in shadows but unmistakably familiar, emerged on the edge of the battlefield. His heart skipped a beat as recognition dawned, and his breath caught in his throat.

It was his long-lost father.

image0.jpg

Ketsu's eyes widened in disbelief as he watched his father's form move with grace and precision, unleashing powerful jutsu that left his adversaries in awe. A flood of emotions surged through him – joy, longing, anger, and confusion. For years, he had wondered about his father's fate, and now, here he was, alive and well. His gaze was fixed solely on his father, analyzing every nuance of his movements, the familiar patterns of his techniques. It was a moment of revelation and bittersweet nostalgia. But Ketsu knew he had to remain hidden. He couldn't risk revealing himself, not in the midst of this battle. His father was a shinobi of great renown, and there were undoubtedly reasons for his disappearance and secrecy. Questions and emotions swirled within him, but he understood that this unexpected encounter was not the time for explanations or reunions.

With his Sharingan still inactive, Ketsu observed his father's every move, his heart heavy with a longing he hadn't felt in years. The young Uchiha knew that this night would forever change the course of his life, as secrets long buried in darkness began to resurface. For now, hidden among the leaves and shadows, Ketsu watched and waited, unsure of what the future held but determined to uncover the truth and, perhaps one day, reunite with the father he had thought lost forever. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm orange glow over the dense forests of the Land of Fire, Ketsu found himself clinging on for dear life perched high in the branches of the titanic oak tree. The wind rustled through the leaves, creating a soothing lullaby that temporarily distracted Ketsu.

As he crouched there, keenly observing his surroundings, his heart pounded as he recognized one of them, a tall and well-built man with ebony hair. His empty eyes widened with disbelief, and he tightened his grip on the kunai in his right hand. His instincts screamed at Ketsu to reveal himself, to run to him and embrace him, but the Genin knew better... He couldn't put his own life at risk, not now. Tears welled up in his eyes as he watched Enzo from his hidden vantage point. Memories of his childhood flooded back - moments spent with him, training sessions, and laughter. But then, he disappeared from Ketsu's life, leaving him with a burning sense of abandonment. He had been told he had died, that there was no hope of ever seeing him again. With a heavy heart, Ketsu watched him fade into a slick goo. The tears fell freely now, his heart aching with the realization that he couldn't confront him, not even meet his gaze before he sunk into the earth as a pile of disgusting black matter.

As he continued to observe from his hidden perch, he made a silent promise to himself - one day, when he was strong, he would seek the answers he so desperately needed from the man who had been both a distant memory and an impossible dream for so many years. Until then, he would carry the weight of this emotional encounter in the depths of his heart, using it as fuel to become a better ninja and, perhaps one day, a stronger son.

In the bustling village of Konohagakure, where the leaves rustled in harmony with the lives of its shinobi, Ketsu, a young Genin, found himself on an unexpected adventure that would forever be etched into his memory. Little did he know that his curiosity would lead him straight into the Hokage's office and under the Hokage's desk.

After spotting the Shinobi move along after dispatching what Ketsu deemed "fakes" of his father and that Hyuuga, curiosity got the better of the boy, and he decided to follow these mysterious shinobi to see what they were up to. With the agility only a ninja could muster, he tailed them through the village, weaving through the quiet streets.

The chase led Ketsu to the Hokage's mansion, a place he had never really ventured before. Unable to resist, Ketsu quietly approached the building and saw an open window on the second floor. With a deep breath, he jumped and landed soundlessly on the windowsill.

Ketsu found himself in a dimly lit corridor, lined with ornate tapestries and candles. The air was thick with tension, and he knew that he had to tread carefully. The footsteps of the shinobi echoed down the hall, sticking to the shadows. As he approached a grand wooden door, Ketsu couldn't believe his eyes—it bore the emblem of the Hokage.

Ketsu's heart raced as the Genin entered the Hokage's office and closed the door behind him. His curiosity had led him this far, and now he couldn't turn back. In his anxiety, Ketsu took a step backward and tripped over a stack of scrolls, sending them crashing to the floor. Panic flooded his veins. He knew he had to act fast. Without thinking, Ketsu darted into the room and scrambled under the Hokage's desk, praying that he remained hidden. Ketsu's heart pounded like a drum in his chest, he held his breath.

As Tento's sensitive nose picked up the scent of another being, his chakra-enhanced senses allowed him to discern the specific lineage of the individual. The realization struck him like a bolt of lightning; the scent belonged to none other than a member of the Uchiha. Tento couldn't help but release a nervous "onk" as he quickened his pace.

The urgency of the situation was not lost on him, and he hoped that his companions, Ayame, Inoka, Yumaro, and Komato, would follow suit and double their speed. Their pursuit of the target led them in the direction of the Hokage's office, and it was becoming increasingly clear that something significant was afoot.

Ayame and Inoka, with their impressive sensory skills, confirmed the fleeing chakra source and understood the gravity of their sensei's urgency. The scent of the real Enzo Uchiha was not to be taken lightly, and they prepared themselves mentally and physically for what awaited them at the Hokage's office. It was a tense and critical moment, and they knew they had to act swiftly to confront this mysterious individual and unravel the unfolding situation.

The fourteenth Hokage, Suzaku, entered his office with a distinct lack of enthusiasm for the bureaucratic duties that lay ahead. The prospect of being confined behind a desk, poring over treaties and developmental plans, filled him with a sense of tedium that was hard to bear. He released a weary sigh, a unique manifestation of his fiery nature. Unlike any other human, his exhalation produced a visible black carbon gas, an overt testament to his embodiment of fire. As he glanced around the room, his eyebrows shot up in surprise at the sight that greeted him—a once-neat stack of scrolls now lay scattered haphazardly across the floor. Suzaku knew Ayame well; her commitment to her work meant she would never leave the office in such disarray.

Immediately, suspicion welled within him, compounded by offense at the audacity of someone breaching his office without permission. In Suzaku's eyes, this was more than a mere inconvenience; it was a perceived threat, and he moved accordingly. With a purposeful lift of his hands, chakra surged forth, generating intense streams of smoke. His arm, once human flesh covered in skin, underwent a startling transformation, converting into a natural state of fire that rendered it intangible. This fiery appendage was then launched like a projectile toward the left side of his desk, colliding with devastating force. In an instant, the desk was incinerated into ash, the sheer power of the attack causing windows to shatter and emit a veil of black smoke that enveloped the building. To any onlookers outside, it appeared as if the Hokage's residence was engulfed in flames. However, those familiar with Suzaku's fiery temperament understood the true nature of the spectacle.

The destruction of the desk resulted in a cascade of papers and books collapsing, and at the epicenter of this sudden chaos was Ketsu Uchiha. Suzaku's right arm began to regain its original form, the malleable nature of his fire body allowing him to regrow limbs. His arm remained locked onto Ketsu, poised to launch a secondary fire attack, but this destructive intent was halted by three familiar voices that echoed in unison, "Lord Suzaku, stop!" Ayame, Inoka, and Tento, acting in concert, attempted to prevent Suzaku from unleashing another potentially devastating jutsu that could obliterate the Hokage's mansion. Tento, in particular, chided Suzaku's unbridled fiery nature, reminding him of the patience and restraint that should have been instilled during his training at Mount Tārukō.

Inoka, resigned to another trip to retrieve a replacement desk, and Ayame, begrudgingly preparing to reorganize the scattered papers, voiced their frustration at the situation. As Suzaku's anger gradually subsided, he adopted a petulant expression, torn between anger and curiosity. He secretly hoped that the intruder would prove to be a genuine threat rather than a mere annoyance. Attempting to diffuse the tension, Suzaku half-heartedly explained his actions, claiming that he had merely removed the desk to expose the intruder's identity. Tento, however, remained unconvinced, and his response was laden with skepticism as he continued to stand protectively in front of Ketsu Uchiha, the unintended focal point of this unexpected altercation.

As the atmosphere in the office simmered with a mixture of frustration and awkwardness, Suzaku exchanged uncertain glances with Ketsu, unsure of the appropriate course of action in the wake of this unexpected encounter.

Chunin Exams - What's going on!?
1680453678111-png.2969

In the heart of the Stone District, the day before the highly anticipated Chunin Exams was a flurry of activity. Two weeks had passed since the devastating attack from the Shadow Realm, and the shinobi world was still reeling from the aftermath. However, the indomitable spirit of the villages remained unbroken, and the prospect of the Chunin Exams brought a renewed sense of determination to its inhabitants. The sun hung low in the sky, casting a warm, golden hue over the shinobi continent, as shinobi of all ages and ranks converged on the sprawling training grounds. The atmosphere was charged with energy and anticipation, a testament to the significance of this event in the shinobi world. Banners bearing the symbol of Stone City fluttered in the breeze, their vibrant colors a stark contrast to the recent shadows that had loomed over their world. Teams of Genin, adorned in their respective land headbands, gathered to finalize their preparations. The air was filled with the sound of shuriken clashing and kunai piercing targets as they honed their combat skills. The many sensei of the young shinobis watched over them with pride as they were easily able to see that their students were determined to pass their upcoming tests.

Shinobi were getting ready for their adventure to the Stone in order to participate and/or spectate while some villagers left with their children and others remained in their lands to watch on TV. Though, with the memory of the Shadow Realms attack still fresh in their minds, they were prepared for any eventuality. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the world, the shinobi's preparations for the Chunin Exams were nearly complete. The village's resilience in the face of adversity, its unwavering determination, and the unbreakable bonds forged through countless trials were evident in every corner. Tomorrow, the Chunin Exams will begin, and the Stone District will host its first exams and stand as a beacon for the shinobi world.

The Hokage's office bore the unmistakable scent of recent fire, a lingering reminder of the recent tumultuous events. Within this space, painstakingly reconstructed with the assistance of his loyal bodyguards and devoted assistants, Suzaku found a sense of normalcy gradually returning. The room was gradually returning to its former glory, erasing the scars of his recent emotional outburst.

Now, with the Chunnin Exams underway and Uchiha Ketsu no longer present, Suzaku could turn his attention to the pressing matter at hand: the disappearance of his father, Enzo Uchiha. Seated comfortably in his chair, Suzaku delved into the detailed incident report chronicling the confrontation between General Komato, Yumaro of the Mist, and the impostors masquerading as Enzo Uchiha and Hino Hyuuga.

The ramifications of the incursion from the Shadow Realm weighed heavily on Suzaku's mind. He understood all too well the dangers of hastily dispatching a platoon of Konoha's finest shinobi in search of these two figures, especially when they hailed from iconic clans and possessed potent dojutsu. The peace promised by the Shinobi United Alliance didn't quench the insatiable thirst for power that still lurked within the shinobi world.

"Fetch Yaju Inuzuka," Suzaku instructed, his gaze shifting to Inoka Yamanaka, who would relay this telepathically. "I want him to commence the search for Hino Hyuuga."
cad21eaafac457271df4009a85f711bb.png

However, Ayame Uzumaki, never one to hold back her convictions, interjected. Her voice brimmed with passion as she attempted to sway Suzaku's decision. She argued that Enzo Uchiha, too, should be a subject of the search.

Suzaku met her plea with a pause, his countenance unwavering. "No," he finally responded. His tone left no room for dispute. "I will assign Ketsu Uchiha to the task of locating his father."

Ayame expressed concern for Ketsu, highlighting that he was still just a child and hadn't even awakened his Sharingan. She implored that Yaju Inuzuka, an experienced tracker, would be more suited for the mission, emphasizing the unknown nature of their adversary.
16daf2308fc01c7195fa82b491556ccb.png
Suzaku, his laughter briefly piercing the tension, reassured Ayame. "You're not giving me enough credit, Ayame," he said with a sly grin. "I'm not sending the child alone, nor am I a fool or sadistic. Sending a team to shadow his every step would defeat the purpose. Ketsu's emotions, be it joy or devastation, will fuel his growth. We need Enzo's physical body intact, no matter the outcome."

The room fell silent after Suzaku's firm declaration, and Ayame, recognizing the futility of further debate, nodded in acquiescence. Inoka Yamanaka, meanwhile, diligently tracked Yaju Inuzuka's chakra signature, communicating with him and summoning him to the Hokage's office.

In the midst of this unfolding plan, the quiet room seemed to hold its breath, knowing that even in the face of uncertainty and danger, the indomitable will of Konoha's Hokage remained resolute.

Unfortunately the world was hanging on by a rope, as there were many individuals, institutions, and principalities acting as a threads to keep what remained together. The singular rope was strong, however, you'd have to consider what was to what is. The state of the shinobi world was at its most fragile state since the four great shinobi world war. A singular man chose to once again interfere with the residents of the world, and through space and time, a red-haired revealed itself to the world of men.

A knock could be heard by those within the Hokage's office, it was loud and obnoxious, similar to the present leaders attitude. The hallway smelled like a chimney, obviously the residual effects of Suzaku's temperament. It was likely to rise seemingly as the man with glasses arrived when the room befell silence, an opportune moment to interject. He anticipated many reactions from Suzaku, however, with his presence known in such a time the Hokage would have a solid question to ask the red-coat man. After the knock, the man pressed his glasses his nose. He had a very interesting proposal, something that likely should be taken seriously by the current leader.

Yaju Inuzuka found himself in the comforting company of his loyal pack of ninken, a testament to the unspoken bond that ran deep within the Inuzuka clan. Surrounded by six dogs of various breeds, he basked in the ease and familiarity of their presence. Each breath he took seemed to harmonize with the rise and fall of his canine companions' chests, creating a serene atmosphere that only those well-versed in the ways of the Inuzuka could truly appreciate.

In Yaju's eyes, this camaraderie was the very essence of being an Inuzuka. The hounds that sat by his side held a special place in his heart, and their unwavering loyalty was both a source of pride and a testament to the resilience of these creatures. Each dog had its own story, having survived the harsh realities of the wild on their own, and now, they proudly bore the honor of being part of Yaju's pack. A subtle shift in the air, a hint of chakra, disrupted the tranquility that had settled among the hounds. Like the sudden jolt of an alarm clock, chakra intruded upon their peaceful moment. Yaju's pack, sensitive to the flow of chakra, responded with soft whines, their restful reprieve momentarily disturbed.

latest

The source of this disturbance became apparent as the hokage's assistant reached out to Yaju through their telepathic connection. Jujin, the colossal canine companion, stirred and began to rise, shaking out his short fur with a thunderous quake that reverberated through the room. Yaju, too, acknowledged the call, both through his thoughts and aloud, addressing the unseen presence in his mind. As Jujin and Yaju readied themselves to depart, the rest of the pack followed suit, donning their unique attire that marked them as a unified and formidable team. They moved with precision and purpose, a testament to their well-practiced routines and the unspoken knowledge they shared as a pack. With Jujin leading the way, the group made their way to the Hokage's office, an imposing sight as they arrived at the village's heart. The size of Jujin alone drew the attention of onlookers, his towering form a testament to his extraordinary lineage and his role as Yaju's steadfast companion.

Upon their arrival, Yaju took a moment to assess the situation. His sharp senses, augmented by his Inuzuka heritage, allowed him to perceive the tension in the air and the figure waiting outside the Hokage's office. While he recognized the individual, his canine instincts and the demeanor of his pack hinted at an unspoken tension in the atmosphere. With Jujin at his side and the rest of his pack standing watchfully, Yaju was ready to face the unknown, his loyalty to the village and his commitment to the mission unwavering. As they awaited entry into the Hokage's office, the presence of his formidable pack served as a silent but powerful reminder of the strength and unity that defined the Inuzuka clan.

The knock on the door broke the small tension within the Hokage's office. Both a look of excitement and fanservice was expressed on both Inoka and Ayame's face. Ayame immediately bowed to the thirteenth Hokage Ketsugo Uzumaki, a man who was living legend. Her mind became infiltrated with multiple thoughts and questions to ask Ketsugo but her worlds could not materialize, so Ayame sat there admired by Ketsugo.

This angered Suzaku that Ayame admired Ketsugo and immediately expressed his dislike for Ketsugo. "I thought you died...I was feeling celebratory this month," Suzaku said to himself, pouting while the veins out of his head popped out annoyed by the presence of Ketsugo. Suzaku closed his eyes hoping that when he reopened them his former teammate Ketsugo would be gone, but this was not at all the case.

To Suzaku's surprise, the room had been blessed with another presence but this one was actually anticipated, Yaju Inuzuka. Like both Ketsugo and Suzuka, Yaju was a seasoned shinobi and was younger to the two Kage-level shinobi by a little over a decade. Leader of the Ranbu Oni-tai, Suzaku put complete faith in the man that stood feet away from his desk.

"Ah, Yaju Inuzuka, a face I am actually happy to see," a smile materialized on his face. "I've summoned you here because Hino Hyuuga and Enzo Uchiha have gone missing and I need to locate them. While I've already assigned a team to seek out Enzo Uchiha...you'll be assigned to rescuing Hino Hyuuga," Suzaku's voice was urgent and stern. "Even if Hino is a corpse, you are to bring his body and to make sure that it is intact," Suzaku added more details to the mission. "This was left outside of the Hyuuga compound," Suzaku pointed to the small piece of clothing from Hino Hyuuga. Small droplets of blood stained the cloth, but Suzaku believed it would be enough to gain a scent. Suzaku observed Yaju and his canine companions, waiting for the master sensory shinobi to comment.

The red-headed shinobi remained keenly attuned to the ever-shifting currents of emotion swirling around him. Among the myriad sentiments that enveloped him, one stood out like a blazing comet in the night sky—the profound admiration and infatuation of a fellow shinobi. This remarkable woman possessed not only exceptional skills that proved invaluable in their service to Suzaku, but she also held a coveted position of influence within the Hokage's inner circle. Above all else, she embodied the legacy of the Uzumaki clan, a lineage renowned for its indomitable spirit and integral contributions to the village's triumphs. The intensity of her emotions radiated like the brilliance of the midday sun streaming through parted curtains, impossible to conceal. In response, Ketsugo, the red-headed shinobi, wore a warm, knowing smile, his eyes locking onto hers in a silent exchange of profound respect. A subtle nod, executed with the grace of a seasoned shinobi, served as an unspoken testament to her worthiness. Indeed, she had earned every ounce of it, and more.

Ketsugo couldn't help but shift his attention to another individual within their midst, a fellow shinobi bearing the unmistakable mark of the Inuzuka clan. It was a sight to behold, witnessing a man who held such remarkable mastery over a multitude of ninken, the loyal canine companions that accompanied him. As he observed this unique display of command and camaraderie between man and beast, several words danced through Ketsugo's mind, each a testament to the values that defined the very essence of a shinobi's existence. Honor, an unwavering commitment to a code, discipline etched into every fiber of one's being, control over not just oneself but over formidable forces, the bonds of friendship that transcended human boundaries, and the unswerving loyalty that bound them all together. These were the foundational principles that underpinned the world of shinobi, and to witness them extended to the animal kingdom in such a profound manner was nothing short of fascinating.

The presence of the Hokage, Suzaku of the Yohi, was utterly unmistakable in the room, and he made no effort to conceal his emotions upon Ketsugo's arrival. It was clear to anyone observing that Suzaku's reaction held a depth of sentiment, one that was difficult to interpret. Perhaps, Ketsugo pondered, his successor felt a twinge of embarrassment, or even a subtle undercurrent of threat stirred by his unexpected return. Despite Ketsugo's initial intention to sever his ties with the world of shinobi, he found himself unable to completely distance himself from it, at least not at this pivotal moment. Determination coursed through his veins, the driving force that had spurred him to traverse the distance from the tranquil Whirlpool District back to the bustling heart of the Leaf Village. With the world teetering on the edge of chaos and turmoil, Ketsugo recognized that Suzaku had an array of pressing needs, and he was resolute in his commitment to be of service to the next generation.

"It is cute to be jealous Suzaku, right, Ayame? But regardless, I am here to talk about the chunin exams. I do not plan to stay forever."

Yaju's highly attuned senses were on full display as the unmistakable scent of blood wafted through the air. Even Jujin, the massive hound stationed outside the Hokage's office, perked up, his large muzzle twitching in anticipation. Throughout the building's grounds, the other Inuzuka hounds scattered about couldn't help but react to the scent. Despite the considerable distance from the source, it was as if they were all wading through a pool of sharks, the mere whiff of blood triggering their primal instincts. Their excitement was palpable, and it was almost as if they had heard the entirety of the conversation that had just taken place behind closed doors.

Their jaws hung open, tongues slack to the side, ready and eager for the thrill of the hunt. Yaju couldn't help but find amusement in the situation, his old-world beliefs reinforced by the hounds' reactions. He could tell that the assistants in the room couldn't quite keep their eyes off Ketsugo, but given the circumstances at hand, Yaju paid him little mind. His attention was solely focused on the blood-soaked rags held in the Hokage's palm.

Shifting his weight from his left foot to his right, Yaju took in a deep inhale, committing every detail of the scent to memory. With each inhalation, he painted a mental picture of the individual he was about to hunt. His keen sense of smell acted like a trail of breadcrumbs, leading him to their quarry. Yaju's lips parted, forgoing any formal introductions to Ketsugo, and he spoke directly to the Hokage.

"Consider it done..." His eyes glowed with chakra, a soft purple hue reflecting his excitement and focus. Although his gaze was concealed behind a pair of sunglasses, the Hokage understood the significance of the display. With a curt nod, Yaju swiftly plucked the blood-soaked rag from his cohort's hand, ready to embark on his mission to track down their target.

With his arms firmly folded across his chest, Tenbō engaged in profound contemplation, delving into the intricacies of life. His thoughts traversed a vast spectrum of subjects, including the intricate realms of politics, sociology, diverse ideologies, and the ever-evolving affairs of the shinobi world. As the fragile equilibrium of the world teetered perilously towards favoring the disruptive and ominous dark forces, Tenbō did not resist the prospect of witnessing further descent into chaos and damnation. In fact, he found himself interested by the enigmatic forces that existed beyond the boundaries of the impure land, captivated by a myriad of compelling reasons.

His perspectives were uniquely his own, diverging significantly from the common narratives, yet they were well-recognized by the enigmatic Four Divine Embers. Disappointed with the prevailing state of the world, he did not shy away from the possibility of its eventual collapse, though he lamented that he could not simply stand by and watch it crumble in this moment. He understood that he had a pivotal role to fulfill, along with a multitude of ambitious goals to attain, each of which demanded careful nurturing and time for their fruition. In this realm of measured contemplation, there was no haste, for Tenbō acknowledged that even within imperfection, there resided profound significance, awaiting its moment to manifest in the intricate sway of existence.

His shadowed gaze was fixed forward, directed downward at the operatives who knelt before him, patiently awaiting the words of their newly appointed commander. This commander, once a black operative himself, had led multiple teams through challenging missions as a captain, earning him the privilege to resurrect a division long lost within the Leaf District. With the blessing of the current Hokage, he now stood at the helm of the shadows, a self-satisfied grin adorning his face. A member of the Four Gods of Fire Release, he commanded a formidable force comprising hundreds of operatives. These individuals would respond to his beck and call, dedicating themselves to advancing the technological prowess of the Leaf District. They would also heed his guidance in various other matters, each decision promising lasting consequences. Time was of the essence, and patience was a necessary virtue, for destiny and fate would align at pivotal moments of significance.

Tenbō, towering at an imposing height of six feet two inches, commenced his address to the assembled masses. They knelt before him, a sea of faces spanning to his front, left, right, and even behind, all met with his composed and relaxed demeanor. His words flowed with a smooth and precise texture, delivered with a silky eloquence.

"Greetings to each of you with heartfelt warmth. I extend my gratitude for your enduring commitment and unwavering loyalty to the Leaf. You represent those who have served our village tirelessly, relentlessly, and with unwavering dedication. In a world on the precipice of calamity, the forces of the unknown have inflicted profound distress, affecting not only common creatures but also the most discerning nobility.

I personally extend my sincere thanks to each and every one of you for the time and unwavering effort you have dedicated, and more profoundly, for the sacrifices you've made on behalf of the Leaf District, and indeed, for the entirety of the shinobi world. We labor not merely to safeguard the assets of the Leaf District but also to nurture and preserve the equilibrium of the shinobi realm itself. In recognition of your service, it's regrettably important to understand that gratitude may not always be forthcoming. This is the path you have chosen as shinobi, where seeking personal glory or fame is not our aim.

With that said, each of you occupies this position due to your exceptional skills and utility. Otherwise, destiny might have consigned you to the same fate that has befallen those who have been consumed by the insatiable jaws of obscurity. Each of you is here to perform your duties with discretion, remaining unseen and unheard. Personally, I aspire for this division to execute tasks on par with the Kōtta Shikai yet refrain from seeking recognition for our achievements.

Each of you is bestowed with the privilege to reignite the smoldering embers of a bygone era, igniting a resurgence reminiscent of the glorious days of the shinobi. However, the methods required to achieve such objectives may raise questions. I anticipate that each of you, as members of the Root, will remain steadfast in fulfilling your commitment. Our mission statement and primary emphasis revolve around secrecy, a foundational principle that not only defines our actions but also shapes our very essence. Do you, my comrades, concur with this principle?
"

The Root members voiced their unanimous agreement, and subsequently, they were individually approached to form alliances with the Cursed Tongue Eradication Seal. As time elapsed and all arrangements were made, Tenbō issued directives to various squads, designating captains and assigning missions. One of these missions was particularly focused on the Chunin Exams.

"The staging of the Chunin Exams serves multiple purposes. One primary objective is to cultivate the skills of our young shinobi, enabling them to mature into capable individuals. This should be evident. However, the underlying focus of this momentous event lies in rekindling confidence and determination within our youthful shinobi. It also aims to bestow honor and pride upon the nations where genin can undergo experience and rise in rank. Yet, there is another layer to this intricate plan, and that is to elevate societal morale and uphold the standards of shinobi excellence in the eyes of the general populace. We must ensure the success of these intricate designs, but we must remain vigilant, as dark forces threaten our realm. Proceed to the locations of the exams and summon me immediately should any threat emerge."

With a nod of acknowledgment and a dismissal, the three individuals assigned to oversee the Chunin Exams were entrusted with specific scrolls. They embarked on their respective journeys to their designated destinations, where they would remain concealed within the shadows, undisturbed and vigilant, unless any unforeseen disturbance threatened the peace among the allied shinobi forces. Tenbō swiftly executed a single hand seal, seamlessly vanishing from existence, leaving no trace or detection behind. It was a flawless demonstration of the Body Flicker Technique.
