SATORU AMATO:

Satoru Amatō, a genderless wanderer who goes by 'she', set sail into the unknown with the faint glimmer of hope in her eyes. As the boat drifted away from the only home she'd ever known, the distant silhouette of her village blurred into the horizon. A mixture of excitement and trepidation filled her heart, knowing that the world she left behind would forever be changed.

Her thoughts turned to her late cousin, Pako, and the tragic sugar mines incident that claimed his life. Memories of her parents' parting words echoed in her mind: "You are strong, you have a gift from the goddess Inari! Share it with the world, make the Amato clan proud!" urged her father, Gin, his hands firmly on her shoulders. Her mother, Taki, caressed her head, adding, "Show them your beauty inside and out. Do not be afraid anymore, child, this is your chance!"

Twelve days had passed since that fateful night, and Satoru's journey had already led her through various villages. Each had their own unique qualities, yet none felt like the right place for her to share her extraordinary gift. With no specific plan in mind, she allowed fate to guide her, drifting wherever the wind carried her.

As Satoru approached the next village, she casually leaned against a large sack of ryo, her makeshift cushion. Her curiosity was piqued, and she couldn't help but wonder what this new destination had in store. Drawing upon her innate gift, she summoned a cascade of pure white sugar from a glass contraption that resembled a gumball machine. The sugar danced in the air as if imbued with the magic of pixie dust before settling into her waiting hands.

With a flick of her wrist, the sugar transformed into a solid block of chocolate and a sharp candy cane blade. Satoru began to whittle away at the chocolate, the image of her beloved cousin Pako forming in her mind. She carved with purpose, each stroke revealing a deeper connection to her past and the hope for her future.

As the mist dissipated, revealing the majestic Hidden Cloud Village, Satoru was struck with awe. She had only ever heard of the Mist, Leaf, and Sand, and of course, her own Sugar Village. Now, standing before this breathtaking sight, she realized there was so much more to the world than she ever imagined.

"No way…" she whispered, her eyes wide with wonder. A new chapter in the sweet odyssey of Satoru Amatō was about to unfold, and her journey had only just begun.

The mighty wind howled as the ship hurried through the turquoise sea. Indira could hear the air tearing through the body of his crew mates. The captain's priority was to get as far as possible from the former unknown sugar village. The sight of war and destruction was not a picture a child must be exposed to. The small yet constant stream of chakra emitted from Indira's body, binding the natural wind around the ship to boost its momentum and speed. Murmurs from the other pirates rose, as they stared at the new orphaned member. They chuckled and spoke of the rumors that they came across during the scavenger hunt on the sugar island.

"I heard those barbarians went to civil war over sugar cane." The first crew member said.

"No, I heard they were attacked by neighboring Districts who attempted to peacefully annex the village, but that poor sugar village refused"

"You're both morons. The kid over there slaughtered his entire village, so that's why the boss hired him...duh"

"Enough!"
A thunderous voice traveled throughout the ship that halted everyone's movement. As the captain spoke, the chatter immediately surrendered to silence. Gesturing for the talkative pirates to get back to work, Indira tilted his head at a 180-degree angle spotting the white hair girl who Indira recently rescued. Within the twelve days that had passed, Indira learned of the young lady's name; Satoru Amatō. Satoru had become family to Indira adopting her as his own sister and playing the overprotective big brother role. While he had no issue disciplining Satoru like the rest of his crew, it was no secret that he had a soft spot for his young disciple. Nothing of a seer himself, Indira knew the potential Satoru had as a shinobi and as mogul.

Already known as one of the richest men in the world, Indira hoped to generate even more profit by taking Satoru under his tutelage. Teaching the kunoichi to perfectly control and mold chakra could help fabricate sugar mines. Not only would Indira be selling weather conditions, but could create a sugar corporation. Within this new world money was everything and needed to become an unlimited resource.

The trip amongst the sea finally came to an end and had now docked at the Cloud District. Few came off the ship acting like bodyguards to both Indira and Satoru, while the rest remained on the ship to help guard against intruders. Wandering through the lightning city, Satoru would be exposed to the industrial capitalist world. Skyscrapers mounted the landscape, the city was truly beautiful and felt as if it was one of a kind.

Indira's footsteps would have halted when he came across a gigantic building that was in the shape of a lightning bolt. This building was the second tallest building in the city only a few inches shy from the Raikage's office. A sea of "greetings" and bright smiles manifested as Indira returned back to his residence. Stepping onto the large empty elevator, he waited for Satoru to join him. The elevator rocketed to the 100th floor opening up and exposing Indira's favorite living quarters. Peering down at his little sister, he simply smirked and said "Welcome home Satoru"

SATORU AMATO:

FLASHBACK_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

As the twilight hours bled into the sky, painting it with hues of orange and pink, Satoru and Pako stood side by side on the riverbank, their fishing rods extended over the water. The sun cast a warm, golden glow upon their faces, reflecting their camaraderie and the peace that enveloped them.

Their laughter, rich and melodic, intertwined as Satoru triumphantly reeled in a massive bass. Its silvery scales glinted in the waning light, like a thousand tiny mirrors reflecting the world around them. The sheer size and weight of the catch threw Satoru off balance, and he tumbled backwards into Pako, their limbs entangled in a clumsy dance. Together, they splashed into the water with a resounding crash, while the bass, seemingly mocking their misfortune, flopped onto the sandy shore with a victorious slap.

Gasping and sputtering, the friends surfaced one after the other, their wet hair clinging to their faces. They shared a moment of pure, infectious laughter that echoed across the water, reverberating through the trees and the soft whispers of the wind.

Later, as nightfall draped itself over the land, Satoru and Pako warmed themselves by a crackling campfire, its flames casting shadows that danced upon the ground. They skewered marshmallows on long, wooden sticks, roasting them over the fire until they turned a perfect shade of golden brown.

In the midst of this simple pleasure, Pako's eyes took on a faraway look, her voice deepening with unexpected wisdom. "A shinobi must always trust her gut feeling," she said, her words imbued with the weight of a thousand unspoken truths. "And no matter how horribly she is treated, she must never devalue human life. Only monsters...only monsters treat human life below them."

Current Day__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
That night, as the campfire dwindled to glowing embers, Satoru lay in restless slumber, haunted by the somber gravity of Pako's words. She was jolted awake by her father's war cry – a distant yet unmistakable sound that sent chills down her spine. Gin Amato's roar, it was called, a sound that could make even the bravest warrior quiver in fear.

With her heart pounding like a desperate drumbeat, Satoru peered over the ship's banister to see her village ablaze, the air thick with acrid smoke. The clamor of makeshift weaponry filled the air, a cacophony of screams and clashing metal, drowning out the peaceful memories of the day.

Tears welled up in her eyes as she wondered if this was why her parents had sent her away – to see the world beyond their village, to gain knowledge and strength, and to return as an agent of change in a world that desperately needed it.

As Satoru stood there, lost in thought, the ship's crew members mocked her, trading absurd rumors about the source of the chaos. Their cruel laughter seemed to pierce her heart, each chuckle a dagger to her fragile spirit. But their jeers were silenced by a thunderous voice – the captain, Indira, a towering figure whose presence commanded respect.

Twelve days had passed since he had rescued Satoru from the flames, and now she clung to him like a lifeline as they navigated the foreign world of the Cloud District. Her small hand gripped the red tail that adorned his waist, its gold trim a symbol of his authority and power. In his presence, she found solace and the courage to face the unknown.

In the elevator ascending to the 100th floor, she shrank back into the corner, her wide eyes darting from side to side, taking in the gleaming, polished surfaces. Satoru stood amazed and frightened at the back of the elevator afraid.

"Let me show you to your room" The voice was gentle unlike before. The large man's thump echoed through out the marble floor whose apartment was built like a maze. After the numerous turns, they would have finally arrived to a room in a large room in the back. Excitedly opening up the door, the two would be introduced to tall perennial grass with tropical sunlight and devices able to emit heavy seasonal rain.

"I forgot to mention that your bedroom is attached the sun room" a jolt of laughter possessed his body as gently pushed Satoru in the room. Pressing his huge feet onto the lush grass, he continued onwards until he reached a door connecting to the sun room. The scenery was quite different from the tropic land they stood in a second ago. The 3000 square bed room was furnished with white futons, a queen side bed, and modern technology to keep any child entertained for hours. The entire room catered to the needs, comfortability, and capability to harness sugarcane to help add to her arsenal. The room once belonged to Indira who used it to master his weather manipulation abilities, but relinquished it as soon as he met the young kunoichi.

Positioning himself 10 feet behind Satoru, he wanted to simply observe her reaction. It was his job now to reinforce Satire's purpose and her happiness. The nomadic pirate knew all too well about one's emotions and how it could influence their actions and their will. Blessed with the ability to take one's burden mentally and physically, he challenged himself if it was ethically right to relinquish one's feeling of pain and sorrow. The topic corroded his mind, but he decided to postpone the topic until later today. He needed to test his younger sister's strength first in order to determine if pain aided her in battle or severely hindered her.

For now Indira eyes carefully followed the kunoichi, studying every minuscule gesture hoping to read her like a book without activating his ocular jutsu.

SATORU AMATO:
Satoru stepped off the elevator, her movements cautious and deliberate as she passed the man who had so generously bestowed upon her such a remarkable living space. As she lifted her foot, the sugar from her backpack coalesced into a cotton candy cloud beneath her. With a sense of wonder, she stepped onto it, hovering gracefully towards the room. The curiosity within her propelled the cloud forward, leading her to explore every corner of her newfound sanctuary. As the cloud gave her passage slowly, the man gently pushed her to this odd room.

"A room... and a sun room...grass?" she mused, her thoughts drifting to her humble origins. Satoru's father had been the poorest of the Kage in the Sugar Village, and the concept of a room - one not shared with others and solely her own - was an unfamiliar luxury. "Wow..." she murmured, her voice barely audible as she floated around in awe.

Turning towards the man who had relinquished a part of his home to her, Satoru's expression shifted from wonder to determination. "Who must I kill?" she inquired, her voice steady as a candy cane kunai materialized in her hand. The young assassin, grateful for the generosity she had been shown, stood ready to repay the debt in the only way she knew how.

Indira watched intently as his little sister's eyes widened with delight and wonder as she took in her new, spacious room. Indira couldn't help but smile at her joyous reaction and felt a sense of satisfaction knowing that he had played a part in creating this special space for her. He watched her for a few more moments before finally stepping back and letting her continue to bask in the excitement of her new room.

Indira's smile quickly faded away as he felt a sudden jolt and heard the ground rumble beneath his feet. He recognized the signs of an earthquake and felt an immediate sense of alarm. His heart racing, he looked around to see if others nearby were reacting to the quake. As the tremors continued, Indira's unease grew, and he realized that he needed to find a safe place to take cover. He guided his little sister to a nearby doorway and braced himself against the shaking. The noise and chaos of the earthquake made it difficult for Indira to think clearly, but he remained focused on keeping himself and his sister safe until the shaking finally subsided.

Indira's eyes flickered purple and blue, a clear indication of the alarming fear and sadness that emitted from someone's heart and mind. Indira's dojutsu had the ability to see and perceive others' emotions through a color-coded aura that surrounded them, with purple representing fear and blue representing sadness. He could feel the weight of the emotions that emanated from the person, and it made him acutely aware of their pain and distress. Indira felt a sense of compassion and empathy for the people, and he vowed to do whatever he could to help them.

Indira felt a sudden emptiness inside him as he realized that members from his crew had been taken by the same mysterious enemy that had snatched villagers of the Cloud District. The overwhelming feelings of despair and loss that emanated from their bodies left him feeling helpless and alone.

As he struggled to come to terms with this latest blow, Indira could feel a growing sense of unease and apprehension. The enemy that they were facing was clearly more powerful and dangerous than he had initially thought, and he knew that they would need to be extremely cautious if they hoped to stand a chance against them. With this in mind, Indira resolved to stay focused and vigilant, doing everything in his power to prepare for the coming battle. He knew that him and Satoru would need to work together, relying on their own skills and abilities as well as the strengths of their allies, if they hoped to emerge victorious.

Despite the uncertainty and danger that lay ahead, Indira was determined to face their enemy head-on, ready to fight for their lives and the lives of their loved ones.

Oiwa (Cloud).png

Within the land of lightning near the watery parts was a girl who seemed very adept to water and swimming to be someone not from the mist district, nonetheless it was definitely a sight to behold. This girl wasn't just swimming, but she seemed to be communicating and traveling with killer whales. She was at peace while swimming around, and even though she was still in her humanoid form, she had portions of her body that were able to work like fins if she positioned them right. As such, she kept her legs together, and with her pants acting as the muscle of a tail while moving in water, when she moved her legs up and down in a fashion like that on an orca and kept her arms out at an angle, she was able to speed through the water with no problem and keep up with the whale pod. She had been with them for over an hour and was probably time for her to head back to the village which thankfully wasn't too far away from where she was. As such, Oiwa rubbed the noses of the head orca and hugged the baby before performing the orca whale song in a 'bye' like manner before darting off almost at a pace thought impossible to be performed in water by humanoid creatures without tails meant for water.

After a while, she shot from the water and performed a front flip before landing on her feet about half a mile away from the village itself. Luckily she had been prepared for the short journey as she did end up catching a descent sized sting ray as she swam and managed to knock it out with a single slap of her arm which also allowed her to remove the stinger in the process. Now as the girl walked fourth on her path, she had a small snack to enjoy which took her the other half mile to the village where she allowed her body to somewhat drip dry. For the most part she had no friends and the only family she had abandoned her so Oiwa was a loner and didn't particular like getting close to anyone unless they were going to help her get revenge on the hoshigaki clan.

SATORU AMATO:
Satoru's heart raced, her breaths coming in shallow, rapid gasps as the terror took hold. The world around her seemed to blur, the colors and shapes melding together like an impressionist painting. Her newfound brother, the one she had expected to be her stalwart protector, appeared momentarily vulnerable, his aura of invincibility tarnished. Doubt began to worm its way into her thoughts: would this man be the rock she needed him to be?

As the cacophony of crashing and rumbling reverberated through the halls, Satoru dropped to her knees, desperately covering her ears to muffle the overwhelming noise. Her eyelids squeezed shut, as if to keep the frightful world at bay. In that moment of vulnerability, she reached out to cling to her brother's tassel, an instinctive gesture that spoke volumes of her need for solace.

The rumbling ceased, and Satoru dared to open her eyes. She peered up at her brother, Indra, his hazel eyes now awash with shades of blue and purple. It was as if the very colors of his irises were dancing, a fleeting moment of whimsy amidst the chaos. Satoru's heart swelled with affection for her brother, even as her mind remained clouded with worry.

Her voice, trembling and fragile, emerged like a whisper in the aftermath of the storm. "Are... are we going to die?" she asked, her eyes welling up with unshed tears. The words hung in the air, suspended between them like fragile gossamer threads.

For Satoru, the world had narrowed to this singular moment, her fears and hopes encapsulated within the span of a heartbeat. And though the shadows of uncertainty still loomed large, there was something undeniably endearing about this tender exchange between the new found siblings, their bond strengthening amidst the chaos of a world they had yet to understand.
