LEGENDARY
Mizujimo City (水霜の市)
A mysterious city located in the Land of Darkness. It appeared, seemingly, out of thin air and has been a mainstay in the eastern part of the frigid nation. Because the Darkness Country itself does not possess a true leader the city is run by a singular mysterious individual. It is highly developed technologically despite possessing a rather rustic theme. Following the Anmaku event, Mizujimo seems to be the only place on Earth that had access to electricity and advanced technology.

Within the city are many black market members and wanted criminals who belong to the Red Tongue. Hiwa Sozo and her mother Reiwa Sozo were held captive here.

Izanagi

Jonin
He was not all sure how to feel in this very moment. The snow passed by and rode the wailing winds around them and to the isdes of them was endless sea and mountain...gloomy and dark and yet in a way there was a majesty to be beheld at the land around them...even if what lay within held such dark secrets of the shinobi world - well, the world as a whole. Izanagi couldnt help but find himself staring out at the mountains in the distance, it was like he was looking straight through them and at someone else far far away, perhaps a good representation of where his mind was in this moment as well...far away. The shadowless man regulated his body heat through focusing chakra and survival breathing exercises. It didnt take long at all, he was a shinobi far seasoned in these methods and once he caught pace that was all he needed before he turned and continued their progression towards the village...now only within eye shot. He paused just a moment - turning to look back at Lady Hokori, Gogo, and Ufu , but mainly for Gogo and Ufu as he asked unto them both:

"Are you two going to be alright? You're not still back there gathering yourselves after the ride are ya?"

He knew that Tetragrammigration can be not only very taxing if not physically trained, but can heavily distort one's sense of perception and cause violent fits of vomitting and vertigo if the brain can not normalize the process of traveling in average perception afterwards. He didnt look at Lady Hokori much as if she was a damsel that would need assistance so much at this point. It didnt take long after the instance in the sewer for him to note that Lady Hokori was no normal woman, in fact there was a part of him that after how effortlessly she took to what was going on around the world - thought that maybe she had a hand in it. She had a major hand in the black market back at Iwagakure. From what Izanagi could tell of the criminal mind - a lot was greed inspired. Power, wealth, knowledge, they wanted it all - you would think that someone that had established themselves so well in the area would have...territory for lack of a better word. And most did not leave that behind them so unhesistantly unless two different situations occured. That being one - they already weighed the options which would require full knowledge of what was happening, and so - they already understood the loss that comes from remaining was too great. Or two: They had a hand in it, and had nothing to lose in the first place at all. His glance swiped her way just a nuanced moment and in that small moment he analyzed her...perhaps he was also just putting more to it, that was always an option as well. Such was his mind, ever contemplating everything that crossed his brain. He wasn't his usual self. He hadn't been for quite some time and that was causative to him disappearing from the face of the world as long as he did before he resurfaced in Sunagakure like he did. His mind started to go back to that place but before his psyche could take the dive, he caught it in firm grip and stopped, quite close to their approach as he could see what was before him:

"Miss Hokori - assuming its not Mrs, heh no Mr.Hokori around is there? But - -ahem- I think it be best that you take charge from here. As much as I'm sure our hosts are expecting us I doubt they would take to well to myself approaching so direct. I have learned that uh....hospitality is something best not assumed."

He was a bit out of touch with the times. Even here and now as he spoke about assumed hospitality he was speaking in reference to what happened when he was at the Kazekage's office. He was from a time thvat citizens of the village could just walk in and speak when need be, and there were no reason for such hostilities. Sure he was there when the kage was away. Sure he was gonna approve a prospective shinobi into the ranks without authorization SURE HE WAS WEARING THE CURRENT KAGE'S CLOTHES....they fit his dimensions..and he could not help himself. But that was beyond the point - he was a citizen and had his rights. . . he cleared his throat a bit. . . perhaps he got to rambling in his mind about the matter and needed to bring himself back to clarity. Regardless - he would await Lady Hokori's word and lead on the matter as they approach.

LEGENDARY
The winds were unforgiving and the cold bitter and fierce. If the air hadn't been howling in a blister perhaps she could hear her own grimacing winces. It had been so cold that each ripple bit the flesh of the beautiful woman. Yes... this was indeed the Land of Darkness... a place she thought she'd never see again... Not since the "death" of her beloved son... Or rather, the changing of her child. She knew deep in her heart he'd never be the same again. But being this close to him made her heart freeze over just like the tears that tried as hard as they might to pour from her eyes. With arms in front of her like an 'X' the woman tried to shield herself from the winds; her hair and clothing fluttered violently in the current. Gogo himself almost went flying until Ufu caught hold of him and held him as if they had just walked through the threshold after marriage. Despite all of his belittling of Ufu Gogo didn't seem to mind this. After all, they were in a place that everyone in the underworld knew not to trespass...

With enough time to gather herself Lady Hokori stood straight up and closed her eyes; suddenly the space around her became exhilarated as heat pillaged the snow beneath. A steam ventured about and gave warmth to those present. This was a seasoned shinobi; she was no farce nor was she weak. How else could such a person withstand the very willpower of Izanagi Uchiha? Perhaps... he himself would discover the secrets she bore in her frozen tears.

On the outskirts of Mizujimo City they could look up and see the rising glacier which pierced into the sky from the land below. Lights glowed with an ominous beauty amongst the obscuring snow carried by the winds. Before they could truly gather themselves, Gogo and Ufu plummeted to the snow and began to vomit. Lady Hokori looked down at them and rolled her eyes, gazing back to Izanagi. "This is your entourage? The great Izanagi Uchiha drudging around toddlers who can't hold their liquor? Hmph..." Peering off into the distance she began to feign disinterest and calmness. But inside... she was troubled. Her eyes drifted back toward him.

"To answer your question... I am not welcome here. And neither are you. These are people of the Red Tongue terrorist organization and they despise shinobi, as I am sure you are aware. Everyone in this town wants ninja to die and the ninja way of life with them. Though... its safe to say that you are hardly a ninja. Follow me."

Land of Fire reports let Lady Hokori know that Izanagi was no normal man; he was something other worldly and this frightened many. But Lady Hokori was as well... Walked off toward the west with the city in the purview the woman knew where she was going. She had been here before. "This organization has hideouts and cells everywhere... Hmmm..." Looking around she peered left and right and stopped suddenly. Her left foot, high heel and all, came down on the spot beneath her. The snow, as a result of her ability, melted the ice and snow below to reveal a four meter wide four meter long metallic square door. Pressing her foot on the metal she'd watch as it lit up and turned red only to melt all the way through creating a hole and eventually completely removing the door itself. Stairs were revealed.

"This leads to an underground passage the Red Tongue used to use a decade or so ago. They no longer use it due to the heavy weight of the ice and snow above causing a few cave ins. It should still be functioning though... and it should lead us to what you're looking for...."

Walking down into this place she'd wait for the others to follow. She wasn't concerned about Gogo and Ufu and, had Izanagi not saved them, she would have left them in the snow to rot and die. Was she ruthless? To some. Or perhaps she saw them for what they were - deadweight. Once they were in (or at least Izanagi) the woman would take her arms and point them at the the remaining metallic walls within the actual tunnel, projecting her fire release technique to them and subsequently moving both palms toward the space in front of her in order to meld the metal into a new closing which would conceal their entrance and stop the snow from coming in. Oddly enough, the underground area was already lit up. "Hmmm.... someone's here..." she said with her back to the three. "But it's too late now. Let's go!"

With haste Lady Hokori made her way down the halls, heels clapping against the metallic flooring and hair and trench coat dancing behind her. After a few turns and passes she would stop at a giant door with a voice, face and fingerprint activation sequence. A computer spoke in a feminine robotic voice: "State your name."

Pausing for a moment she would look down. Perhaps she was contemplating why she was going this far to help Izanagi. She wasn't afraid of him... so why?

"Sappūkei.... Kuchi."

A light would then scan her face, going deeper than her physical appearance and delving into her very chakra network - each person had a unique one. She'd thereafter place her hand on the keypad and the door slid open as the light turned green. Stepping in casually, the woman looked around front left to right and then forward. A casket of sorts with a glass cover over it remained at the far wall of the room. The body of an Uchiha male with tired blue hair and eyes shut as if he were sleeping rested. He was without clothing and without life. The container, however, preserved his body as if he had been of the living. Meanwhile, elsewhere, a man seated in a dark room without a single light opened his own eyes. They began to glow blue, illuminating the room... Something... had tipped him off.

"So... Sappukei... you've returned, have you? Hmph.... A sacrifice to Madoguchi then. So be it....."

Izanagi

Jonin

For a moment there as she gazed back to Izanagi she would have noticed that he was only there looking directly at her, and upon his face was a very misplaced smile. It was a particular smile, the kind that you have on your face when you're throughly enjoying something. But what was it that the man was enjoying in these very moments? Certainly he didnt get some kind of pleasure from seeing the way that Gogo and Ufu went about? Maybe he got pleasure from seeing the way that Hokori interacted or rather, reacted to them...she didnt do much of any direct interacting with the two so that would be...inaccurate. She was like a woman on a mission, focused only on where she needed to go and Izanagi. Those who knew Izanagi closely knew that he was a jokester and very easy going guy, it wouldnt be far fetched to say that Izanagi was simply getting enjoyment out of watching her annoyance with the pair behind them. However, was that the case? He waited for her to come up next to him and started walking side by side, suddenly, a very small type of festival lantern or at least something that closely resembled it fluttered out from around Izanagi's feet and fluttered over to the two. It bobbed there in the air around them and heated their area, what plumes of snow did hit them were immediately alleviated by the warmth of the lantern. Izanagi seemed to be looking over his shoulder at the occurence for a moment as Hokori explained the situation with the Red Tongue. Shinobi haters, he remembers them well from all those years ago when he came to Konoha - and there were people strewn across the streets drained of their life force. He saw hypocrits everywhere he went. Shinobi haters - yet the aftermath he witnessed seemed very close to ninjutsu and very close to the type of cataclysm that shinobi do and have made for centuries. But she was right...he hadn't considered himself shinobi in a very very long time. A time without the modern day shinobi, e couldnt help but contemplate that idea and what it would look like as he spoke:

Well, to be fair Lady Hokori I think its us that have been added to your entourage rather. Ha, either way. Your lovely presence offsets any foolishness they get into, no? But you're right. I havent considered myself a shinobi in quite some time. Departed from that life frankly. Though heh, as informed as they are I'm sure that detail hasn't reached their ears nor matters. Hm, or perhaps it has? I have been gone for quuuuite some time here. I suppose there's only one way we will know. But how about you? Aren't you concerned?

As he said this they had gotten to the opening that Hokori had come to. Izanagi waited for Gogo and Ufu allowing the lantern to shepard the two into the tunnel and following there after. She closed the tunnel up behind them and at that Izanagi started to chuckle a bit. The Kaisei seal, he could feel it closer now. But was that the thing he was smiling about? By the point that she sealed up the doorway he was smiling even more. Following behind her the shadowless man kept his hands in his pockets, watching her as she moved along until finally she came to the terminal there asking her to state her name. Then as she proceeded to do just that, the smile on his face went from sitting at leisure there on the corners of his lips to wide and threatening to split his face by just how far it had gone. "Well that explains a lot. How many more hm? Maybe even Gogo and Ufu?" Paranoia was kind of his thing. From the moment that his mites had informed him as to what was happening on the surface when the lights down in the sewer went out and Hokori wasn't phased in the slightest he had figured something like this was bound to happen. It made him relapse back to the point that he was at when he first met Gogo and Ufu, wondering if even they had some part in this and the entire thing wasnt just a trap. But his composure was still there, because in truth he wasn't put off in the slightest by what was going on. It was all very interesting to him and enlightening about everything that happened. Before long, he was there in front of him. Kirinji Uchiha - his son. Or at least one of them. Though Kirinji came directly from Izanagi's body himself, biological. But there was no excitement on his face, in fact he was perhaps more focused now then he had been originally in coming here as he looked around as Sappukei did and inquired after a short moment:

"You'd said someone was here. I wonder. Where are they then? Hiding around, snooping in the shadows like they didn't bring anything to the potluck?"

He said this while glancing about here and there, but much like other parties who had a stake in this stage play, there were others observing from further then could be comprehended. In this place, the cover of night veiled the skies in a blanket of stars that illuminated the crimson red trees with a tint of pink. And there sitting inside a shrine opened a pair of golden eyes, twisted in contortions of confusion and slight distress.

Kirinji, how did you end up like this?

LEGENDARY
Words were interesting things. They had power. The power in a word could spark the conflagration of war or sooth the ailing heart of a loved one. Names were nothing more than words. There was power in a name. In a species, language - and names - are nothing more than a collection of sounds and utterances used to get the attention of one person or another. So then, who was Sappukei? She certainly was not from this world, that's for sure. Undisturbed by the power invested in Izanagi and capable of entering into the secret corners of this very esoteric place. Sappukei Kuchi was something special and she knew it. She was not the only one who knew of the things she was capable of which is why they had been searching for it. It was why she had been in hiding in the first place. The woman had escaped from the clutches of her captor some years ago but it had seemed that because her purpose ended there was no sensed in searching for her. After all, wouldn't Earth be dealt with soon anyway?
Fairy-Gone-Episode-03-Figure-04-20190422.jpg

"Now that you have what you're looking for, please leave."

She did not give eye contact to Izanagi, Gogo or Ufu like she normally would've. Something was bothering her. Searching around the room the woman dropped her trench coat on the floor and left it in place. Her heels clacked against the metallic flooring. It was a spacious room full of monitors, shelves, computers and all sorts of contraptions that would baffle even the most capable of men in the Land of Fire. "I t-think L-lady H-hokori is right boss. We should d-definitely bounce!" Gogo seemed to have finally come to his senses; the transportation technique used by Izanagi was something of a whirl for him. Not only that, but the change in scenery was also baffling. Although not as mentally capable, Ufu had come-to before Gogo did. He had heard the true name of Lady Hokori and pondered upon many things. "Just what is she... and how does she know about this place? Is Lady Hokori even human...?" It may be that none of his questions would ever be answered.

Suddenly, a feminine yet robotic voice echoed throughout the entirety of the city for all to hear; the gang of four had been had!

"Security breach identified. Location: Level 0, corridor 13, room 7. Chakra neutralization activated. Code Red. Security breach identified. Location: Level 0, corridor 13, room 7. Chakra neutralization activated. Code Red. Security breach identified. Location: Level 0, corridor 13, room 7. Chakra neutralization activated. Code Red. Security breach identified. Location: Level 0, corridor 13, room 7. Chakra neutralization activated. Code Red."

Stopping in her tracks, Sappukei turned to the others. It was the first time in ages her face spoke of nothing other than terror. "I told you fools to leave! Now it's too late! He knows we're here! His name is Shikki! Shikki, the Most Wanted Man in the World." Running over to a window woman's body as well as everyone within the room would've been engulfed in red from the flashing emergency lights. Mechanical algorithms throughout the city activated an electromagnetic pulsation which would neutralize chakra as magnetic fields were already known to do. It would be impossible for one to mold chakra outside of their bodies unless, of course, they discovered a way to deactivated the chakra neutralization. The red walls, faces and buildings did not, however, hide the glowing blue lines which covered every wall, floor and item within the city much like it had throughout the world. In tandem with the pulsations, these markings would allow the neutralization command to update and evolve depending on what it encountered... similarly to the power of Madoguchi himself... With her hands pressed on the window which overlooked a hanger, Sappukei turned to Izanagi.

"I don't have much time left! So you must listen to me, okay? You must tell my story!"

All-the-while a man casually strolled down a hallway donned in a reddish kimono and wrapped up much like a mummy. All around him men and women ran about in a panic though with determination. Those red lights continued to flash about. Back in room 7, Sappukei stood before Gogo and Ufu. "Lady Hokori, what is happening?!" The shock from the matter seemed to erase Gogo's stutter and jitters. He, unlike Sappukei, was a human with human faults, after all.

"My name is not Sekitangara Hokori. I am Sappukei, a woman of the Kuchi clan." Her words were not minced and she spoke in a hurried manner. "I am the last remaining member of the clan kept alive by that hellish fiend Madoguchi. Subject to all sorts of experiments to unearth the secrets of my people's bloodline... you might even call me a lab rat for his right-hand-man, Kojo. I was forced to give birth to a child who-" Just as she finished her thought a reddish energy formed around her head and crushed it instantaneously causing it to become no smaller than the tip of a pin.

adcb0c291f745e1ae3870a2ed88e0f2a.png

That energy came from a large glowing eye which hovered ominously in the corner. It did not possess chakra, a spirit, life force or any sort of identifier which might allow one to recognize its existence. Sitting soundly on a shelf some ten meters behind the Izanagi, the eye was not alone; there were others in the room and throughout the region.

In fact... there were many of them around the world! Straightaway after the woman's body collapsed onto the ground lifelessly, blood spewing everywhere. Gogo screamed and jumped into Ufu's arms while Ufu darted to the other side of Izanagi to put space between the eye and him. This was to no avail; the entire room had thereafter lit up with over fifty of these eyes! Who was controlling them? Only time would tell... his foot steps were growing closer, after all.

Izanagi

Jonin
-This must not register on an emotional level.-

These words shot through his mind the moment that the woman's head burst like an over-inflated balloon right before his face. For a moment...he felt it..that feeling that he had been repressing ever since what happened in Sunagakure. A moment....briefly, there was a smile.
Thesis random1.jpg

He gasped for control - control of him very self at the moment that her body hit the ground as he choked back some unknown utterance at the upturn of his mouth. The shadowless man stood there looking at her body a moment...he wasnt sure what to feel. On the inside - he had never trusted the woman, having believed that her easily willing compliance to what he had to do was just the pre-cursor to her own plot to ambush transpiring. But here she was, dead...and here he was...responsible again. Perhaps he was putting to much of it on himself in the matter, he had a habit of doing that - but regardless he could not divert the logic of the matter that if he had not needed this to happen, she may still be alive...and further more...it all could have been avoided. But no - he wanted to travel about a bit, see the state of the world that he had left alone for so long, and now people were involved that shouldt be - when all along he could have solved everything his own personal way. Not many saw the insanity of Izanagi. It was a very nuance thing and you'd have to be watching at all times to see it. But knowing the truth? It'd be clear in this very moment. He shouldnt have gotten people involved. Though the way that the situation was - he felt little difference in his physical body in the light of things as they were in the room. He definetely was aware that there were electromagnetic fields in play here that were bouncing off his body. Perhaps this was one of the plans of The Takamagahara. His body was encased fully once under the epidermis by the workings of The Jigoku Mites. These small insects are composed in a similar fashion to the three entities within the takamagahara - hard exo-skeletal housing a liquid inside described as a negative yin yang polarized liquid. What this does is draw upon yin and yang as if a black hole that only senses this very thing and re-purposes it back to the exo-skeletal layer which then amplifies its potency. These mites - act as a living tenketsu carrying chakra from the Takamagahara to Izanagi and on top of this they have their own abilities as well. The Jigoku mites have been described as world eaters, perhaps an over-exaggerated name while still not being too far from the truth. These mites consume and assimilate physical matter and process it as food - running through the process of digestion very quickly allowing them to excrete the same liquid that they are comprised of and then repurpose it into more mites, weapons, or even the interior hardening layer around Izanagi's skeletal system that protects his chakra pathway and interior organs - explaining why such a slender man weights over three-hundred pounds. These mites share information between Izanagi and The Takamagahara and burrow into Izanagi's physical composition all the way down to the cellular level. They had their fill of matter at this time. Having already eaten a fair share back at the Kazekage's office, and again in Hokor- no, Sappukei's sewer hideout when it created the clones...whom were still back at that very location. Funny thing that. In the moment most the things about Izanagi were already nigh undetectable due to the Shinigami Ninpo - a technique native to Naraka and the Oni that hail from this place, however there was always something about Izanagi's version of the technique that was different from the rest - and as it stands right now it would seem a bit of that would be ever slightly revealed. The moment that Gogo and Ufu were set back behind Izanagi, he would be breaking open the isolation chamber that Kirinji had been set inside. From there...something very different started to happen. As Izanagi smiled upon the image of his only remaining biological offspring there started to flake upwards into the air golden particles. It was as if there was some sort of radiant light - departing from Izanagi's body. He grasped Kirinji by the neck and as he did so the golden light burst from Izanagi's body - to Kirinji's own. As it did so it started to build more and more around Izanagi's body and started to become an aura around him. This was something that had only prior been found in Naraka...something that Izanagi had held in his back pocket for so very long. The eyes and algorithm around him would have an amusingly hard time with this, for this was in no way chakra and thus would be incapable of the adaptive properties of what was transpiring around him nor the analytical capabilities as well. This was known in Naraka as Hadou - a channeling and concentration in the spore nucleus of Oni genetic composition that focused solely on the physical and spiritual energies of emotional harmony in the subject itself. There were several Hadou, the most common being Hadou of Compassion - in which the energies, jutsu, and techniques that came from this were all based around the energetic potency of the positive emotions of the user generating this energy. And the opposite and much darker, The hadou Of cruelty. Now apparent why it was that the death of Lady Sappukei could not be allowed to register on an emotional level to him. He would need to focus and experience a combat meditative mindset that would allow him to conjure and pull upon only positive emotions. So he did the only thing that he could do. Focus upon saving his son, and saving the innocent bystanders in this deadly stage play that had kicked off its first act in Izanagi's life, Gogo and Ufu. The brilliant shimmer of Hadou would surge through Kirinji's body and purge him of foreign sealing that did not already have a basis in The Hadou in the first place...which would leave only one seal upon him. The KAISEI Seal. This was a seal that all members of Izanagi's shadow organization, Kaisei - were branded with upon entry. This seal allowed Izanagi to be aware of the physical state and presence, as well as general location and vitals. It as well, allowed for two things - both were the primary reason Izanagi felt so much guilt in the current moment. The first was - upon death, the soul would not pass on to the next life or otherwise, but instead - the soul would retract back into the seal unless the body was destroyed and would be sealed there for the moment till decided upon by Izanagi what to do with the latent soul sealed within the Paradise world, Nirvana. Izanagi could revive Kirinji this way - recalling his soul to the vessel it was once in to give him life once more, but the seal would then be dormant and unavailable for another five years. The second was what made this more difficult for him. Once the seal was upon someone, Izanagi could recall their body to him on a whim, and even against the subject's will. This is why he was all the more upset about the matter that happened with Gogo, Ufu, and most of all Lady Sappukei. He only did all of this because . . . plain and simply - he was bored. He wanted to see the world, travel around and take a look at what a world that - hopefully had forgotten him had looked like. But instead it had come to this, and people had gotten involved. Something that he had never thought nor hoped would happen. He could have just called Kirinji back, there in Sunagakure or Iwagakure and done it there, been done with it - no one would get hurt. But instead....he had played around....childish of him. With haste - he slung Kirinji over the shoulder of Ufu and as Gogo was in his arms he pulled a Sanzou Vajra from his interior jacket pocket. Shoving this into Gogo's hand, since Ufu was carrying him - he channeled the golden Hadou to the vajra and focused it, creating an almost eggshell shaped barrier around the three of them where he would then stand and smile:

"I was a fool to get you two involved like this. What you had to witness here, be part of - it was my fault. Letting others die because of me, haha - just not my style anymore. Sorry you two. Make sure I receive that body you have there, and then please - hide somewhere and make sure you're safe."

At that time he would turn back around - and set a single hand on the front of the barrier. From this point the set of handseals that he weaved by single hand were of a nature that could not be interpreted by shinobi of the waking world, as they called it. "Sanzou Art: Nirvana Calling Corridors" and as he said this he would push the barrier shell around them as it would seem to pass through an almost invisible gateway - but in actuality what this was doing was focusing the Hadou that had been channeled into the vajra to initiate the jutsu which usually would focus on a certain amount of targets depending on the user's level of proficiency and send them to a place "Closer to the meaning of life." however this was only what rumor said about the technique. What the technique actually did was focus on the heart and thoughts of the user caught within it at the moment, and by usuing a mixture of the subjects emotional energies and subconscious thought it would send the subject to a place that was "close" to what they themselves thought about most prominently in the moment. Bringing them the meaning of life - to be esoteric about it, in the form of sending them closer to the location of what their primary ambition at the moment was. However instead of focusing on Gogo or Ufu's mindstate and where it was in the moment, it would focus on the pre-determined focus of the Hadou that was within the barrier at the moment. Gogo and Ufu would be sent to an odd looking world - or rather, they would cross through it. The skies were bright purple and the clouds cotton candy pink. They were in a corridor - full of ringing bells and floating festival lanterns...much kin to the one that had floated aside them for warmth when arriving here. The corridor they were in was disembodied in the fact that it was not inside of a building at all, composed of bright red wood unlike anything that grew in the normal shinobi world. But much like any method of travel for Izanagi....there was probably need of a barf bag. The corridor would tilt, in a manner that would cause them to slide down towards the end of it, near plummeting to a panic inducing fall. They started to reach the end of the corridor - signified by a door adorned with the depiction of a Jade Dragon when suddenly they would hit the door and cause it to burst open - spitting Gogo, Ufu, and Kirinji out the other side to no other place then....the sewers where they had linked with Sappukei in the first place. There once they came out of the barrier that would burst after protecting them from the fall and harmful conditions to the body from Nirvana - would a pair of clean dress shoes....waiting to greet them there as they arrived.

-Meanwhile-

The shadowless male that represented Izanagi Mebu lowered that hand. And as the figure approached - Izanagi stood there adjusting his tie and gloves. He started to repress the Hadou, reverting back to what just looked to be a simple man in a suit. A smirk pasted across his face as he inhaled deep. He could have gone with them easily, but it was apparent that what was going on here, was much bigger then what he had initially thought. It turns out him isolating himself from the shinobi world and machinations of it - had caused him to become out of the loop about a lot of what had been going on and had even lead to this point. Sappukei wanted him to tell her story. He most certainly would. But there were more things to learn, and information in this kind of scenario was key. She was speaking about being forced to bare a child....what child? What was she talking about? A single small insect crawled from Izanagi's pant sleeve and made way over to Sappukei's body. It settled over the top of the blood and its dorsal shield seeme dto inflate and resonate a slight red glow - seeming to be filled with her blood. From there Izanagi would wave it away with the pass of a hand, and the Jigoku mite would disperse in a golden hadou, his eyes remaining up and alert, he could feel his chakra flowing through his body beneath the shielding the mites provided with their polarized liquid shielding him in such a way - but he was unsure if trying to convert this chakra to use externally would be a good bet. Perhaps he could mold chakra internally, but what else did they have planned? Obviously weaponization of chakra and ninjutsu was something they were well planned for...he had other options and surprises - The Hadou being one of those....maybe he would just stick with that, and use his chakra to bolster his physical capabilities rather. Regardless...he'd play the role of a neutralized shinobi...and maintain the element of surprise for now.

"If I were you I'd watch my tongue—would be a shame if someone were to... rip it out..."

They weren’t very different from one another, were they? Ostracized by the world and misunderstood even in the face of their own kin. Yes, indeed, they were similar. How could two people be so familiar and yet so distant? Silent footsteps traversed with a seeming weightless drawl across metallic flooring. The dastardly scrambling of ants in armor had all but ceased in these quarters because there was but one who could take the reigns. He was, after-all, the lord of this city and so who could persist within it without his knowing? Slow and cautious were his feet. They were covered in an unusual gauze much like the rest of his body. Just what was he attempting to conceal? It didn’t matter - all would be revealed in relative brevity. The door to the place where Sappukei’s life came to an abrupt end had opened once Shikki himself drew near; it was rather ominous. From the walls lining the halls reddened eyes peeled from the sheets and followed Shikki much like they always did. There had to have been at least fifteen of them; thousands were placed throughout the city. Had he needed to he could summon one forth effortlessly by a tool which allowed him to tamper with the space-time continuum - without chakra.

In reality, Shikki had much to hide under his bandages. The secrets therein would protect him from the opponent he was destined to face in more ways than one might expect; it gave him there wherewithal to be mentally, physically and technologically superior than anyone on Earth and, therefore, the machinations of Izanagi would fall on deaf-ears, eyes and heart. Their abilities and standing among their own kind was all too familiar. For them to forego the trek of a shinobi for something they deemed higher was uncommon to most. So then, whose ideology held more weight?

You’re not supposed to be here, are you?”

A deep raspy voice came from the threshold of the doorway. The flashing red lights and blue hued lines seemed to make his bandaged appearance that-much-more foreboding. “Who are you? And before you answer…” A crooked and demented smile etched itself across the face of the pale man whose chin dropped and eyes widened. “Take heed - in my city liars have their tongues cut out and are forced to eat it.” Discharging his own tongue drenched is a viscous saliva, Shikki swatted the air around his mouth before closing it with a smile. Both arms at his sides and red floating eyes floating around him, the man’s bloodlust would’ve caused those of weaker repute to drop in their place unconscious. Izanagi though? He was another story. Something else entirely.

“For him to make it this far meant that Sappukei believed he had the ability to challenge me even though I've been bestowed his power.”

Surmising Izanagi, Shikki’s eyes suddenly shifted to a blue-glow. This unnatural metamorphosis took place during his slobbering threat; those eyes of his studied Izanagi on even the smallest of levels which would reveal to him the secrets within the body. “Is this the power of the Ice King himself…?! N-no…. This is something else entirely…” With both of his arms coming out to his sides and palms opened, Shikki’s chin lifted up ever-so-slightly as he gazed upon Izanagi.

“Repent and make yourself clean! Now is not the time to revel and wade in old-world waters.
Come! Join our cause and be preserved!”

Before he had come to the threshold his surveillance devices knew what had been occurring in the room and relayed all the information to him, Soki Matsuda and other high-ranking Red Tongue affiliates. This also meant that Izanagi’s very form and his seeming lack of form, the ability he used to transport Kirinji and the rag-tag group as well as the inner workings of his body were all within the secrets of the Red Tongue’s catalogs. Four of the red-eyed weapons floated into the room, joining the others. As their bodies skirted around aimlessly, pointing their eyes upon Izanagi, Shikki awaited the man’s answer. Elsewhere, a small child was being escorted through an underground facility, one much deeper than this, by a group of men dressed in black. The small child’s face was not shown but he bore skin much like Madoguchi’s…. As it was now, the story was only just now beginning to unravel!

Izanagi

Jonin
There was something about this situation that just did not sit well with the shadowless man. As he stood there in the room ever so patiently waiting he would start to think back through the state of things and how he had ended up in this position. It had all started for him in Sunagakure. Sure he had been here and there between ventures into Naraka and back before - having passed through Konoha during one of the first attacks of the Red Tongue before he even was made aware that such an organization existed. But the point that he really became involved with any of this was set along its path when he ventured to the Kazekage's office for information in the first place. Information that he had not even truly needed if he put more effort to it, and with it - the wheels had started turning to get him to this moment. And then, he said it. "You're not supposed to be here are you?" the man said unto him and as he did so he started to think about that statement, something about it struck a nerve with him but he couldnt quite understand why. Was it because in truth he was right in more ways then one. He wasnt supposed to be here - or so he always thought about such things in his free time. What if he wasnt? What if he had died when they extracted Kurama? Would things be utterly different then how they are now? Maybe they wouldnt. He couldnt help but nibble on his lip a bit at the thought. Then - it struck him. Just like with the Kazekage, he had snuck inside of a building, in someones personal spaces that he apparently was not allowed, and much like with that scenario - now someone was being rude to him. Well, one would also say that it was rude of him to be trespassing in this lab as well. But he had good reason - just like he did when in the Kazekage office! They had his offspring after all, that did not belong to them - all he wanted was to send him back to where he rightfully belong and be off about his way...they needed not fight, they never needed to but it always seemed like he was brought into a scenario that he had to fight...or perhaps he had simply done far too much fighting in his time that his name was simply associated with a type of confrontation that he could never escape. Regardless of that - it was hard for Izanagi to place aside the idea of someone being rude to him, he himself was so very cordial and he would like to think pleasant, he means after all...he didnt blow the lid off that opening into the lab and walked straight out before he could even so much as begin to have a word with him. . . that is what it would be after all - the beginning of a word. The entire time that the man was making his way down to where Izanagi was - he would have a deep-seeded feeling well up in his chest, focusing on it as he rubbed his right hands middle finger and thumb together feeling the friction upon it as if he was testing the environment to some extents. He could feel something happening with the matter of his chakra and state of its flow - able to hear in great clarity the way that the Jigoku Mites acted erratically at the presence of what seemed to be a magnetic force. It wasnt the exact thing that would reveal the weakness of Izanagi and the mites but it was damn close enough for Izanagi to consider the circumstances and choose a better course of action. One of the key things that made Izanagi formidable in most situations was no matter what he was faced with - he remained calm, he'd seen enough that almost nothing surprised him although...that being said this entire Red Tongue situation was concerning. The man had approached and told him "Take heed -" At this Izanagi raised his brow with his hands at leisure down at his side. He still held his hand with middle finger and thumb upon each other as he had been testing something before the man got here but when he said that Izanagi froze in place as if appalled and held his hand and body in the same posture looking over at the man. Then the man got to the point that the words: "In my city liars ha-" before Izanagi flicked those two fingers across one another and snapped his fingers. The moment that he did this - exactly simultaneously to the moment his fingers swiped across one another, so not so much as when the sound of the snap happened but the split second that his fingers crossed friction across one another two things happened in the exact same moment: This was a golden spark - very similar to the Hadou technique that he had used to send the trio away to Iwagakure would resonate. The next thing would happen would the bandaged man's voice would distort - going from normal during the moment he said "liars" and to a high pitched - rather sharp whistle tone the moment he got to "ha" in the next word. This technique was known as Divine Impact: A technique used by Izanagi and those taught by him that utilize the synthesis, manipulation, and direction of chakra or Hadou to perform one of the three stages of the technique via snapping one's fingers and igniting the Kanji upon their fingers with either chakra produced friction or hadou produced friction - in which typically the latter is used for higher levels of the technique. This technique focuses directed Hadou via principles of chakra control to charge and augment the vibration of sound waves produced by the vibrations of ones vocal cords - and hyper charge it so that their own voice becomes a volatile sound bomb inside their own mouth. There are only two known ways to avert the ghastly results of this technique - and those who do not manage such find themselves with a high charged sound bomb bear hugging their uvula ready to turn their head into a cherry red paint spray set to redecorate the moon. Essentially the full culmination of what was transpiring was in the short moment that it took Izanagi to slip two fingers that had already been resting against each other into a snap of the fingers, the bandaged male's voice would have been turned into a mass bomb that had he not been any the wiser - would be followed by a rather loud explosion sounding like a dialed up popping of a balloon, leaving him on the ground not too far from lady Sappukei's body either. On the outside had this occured - Izanagi would simply stand there trying his best not to let this register on an emotional level....trying not to be that same man that he had been for all those years before....but the phrase: "An eye for an eye" ironically wanted to leave his lips after potentially putting this man on the ground as a corpse next to the woman that'd lost her life for helping him. However in the case that this did not transpired. Izanagi would simply listen to the man and answer of course as per usual, truthfully as to who he was - as if the man did not already know. And in the event that such an offer as the man had intended to propose was made Izanagi would simply raise a brow and tilt his head almost as if a questioning cat as he would chuckle and pinch the bridge of his nose:
"Join you? Hm - why do I feel like such an offer is laced and leaded with booby trap, cloak and dagger. The way that you have hit the other villages. This seems like a matter of wanting it all gone. Wipe the slate clean. I dont doubt you, after all - liars in your village have their tongue cut out right? So level with me. Why would I believe I could trust you if I were to take just such an offer?"

"If I were you I'd watch my tongue—would be a shame if someone were to... rip it out..."

Blue lined markings skirted around the body of the bandaged man. They were so bright that their opulence shimmered even from behind the walls of his gauze which covered his body from head to toe, leaving room to show his eyes and mouth. These links acted in response to a foreign chakra which sought to beseech the body of the vessel. For one to project their chakra from one point to another and or activated it there was always a delay. Even without this the markings would act promptly on their own. The target was the mouth of the terrorist and the goal was to blow his head up using a rather convenient technique, one that would've likely worked on a lesser opponent. Instead the lines would turn the energies used to attack him into information; something like numbers and sequences which could be deciphered by the one translating it. To be fair the original components of this energy were still there it was simply that they had now been in a different tongue entirely, a tongue which was not native to this world or any word like it. It was a language known by Madoguchi himself.

Not only could energy be changed in this way but so could livign things as well...

You see, those blue-markings were not exactly "fuinjutsu" as humans called it. They were individual organisms far smaller than a nano. They lived in persisted with and without oxygen, beyond the current understanding of the things of this world. Artificial in nature but entirely organic, they were an oddity. Alien in property and yet blending in and associating with this world so casually. Yes, the Chōchisei Sequence (超知性の順序, "Chōchisei no Junjo") possessed many mysteries.

On the one hand they had been used to absorb the astonishingly corrosive chakra from the Chakra Source. On the other hand they could devalue various energy types by shutting them off and or taking control of them. On another hand they had assimilated Heiwa Sozo into the body of Madoguchi. And yet still... they had bestowed Shikki with the power of Madoguchi, to a degree. In a way they were nothing more than extensions of him; he was always watching and always aware of the happenings around his markings. In some cases they had been used to repurpose the energies taken, turning people into human bombs (as was the case in the Land of Fire not too long ago.) Shikki having heard of such a moment knew that something was amidst. Speaking with Izanagi - particularly after his attack - was meaningless now. Heretics would be assimilated in the same fashion or used for another.

In the same moment that Izanagi had accosted Shikki the room began to glow even brighter with those blue lines before it instantaneously exploded in a matter of half a second. It should actually be noted that it was not simply the room it was the entire region of the underground facility!

Shikki had done so knowing that he had escaped with his orange-headed friend from the confines of the city and was being moved safely through the snow forest to the north. The explosion was so powerful that even tempered and alloyed steel would be melted and seared beyond recognition. The electrical equipment would further the damage. At the base of the city a large blue explosion from beneath the snow rocketed into the sky, dwarfing the metropolis. Debris scattered about aimlessly. In the midst of it all Shikki's eyes had revolutionized and took on a glowing blue hue as they peered upon the body of Izanagi and attempted to sequester his head in the same manner that had been done to Sappukei, though the outlining chakra was a teal color as opposed to the way it appeared when the Ippondatara attacked. Still with the bandaged man, the giant eyes flirted around him; both they and their master appeared uneffected by the explosion.

Shikki's use of the Banbutsusekaijutaisho, which roughly translated to "All Things in the World Are Subject to Change", was remarkably quick.

He could usurp an individual in half the time it took to blink, controlling their bodies as if it were a rag doll. In this case he sought to rip Izanagi's head from his body in the midst of the explosion. Hidden in the mix of it all were left-over blue markings which skirted from beneath the man and wanted only to make themselves home on his feet and legs, much like how they had done those in the Land of Lightning not too long ago.

Not long after these things would take place Shikki's body would begin to glow brightly, preparing for a disastrously troublesome attack...
